What services are available
at DS Grafx? |
|
|
|
Small
businesses usually require the same tech support that is used by mid-size
to large corporations. This is especially true for internet services companies
where donning of several hats can determine it's success or failure. For
a graphic design company, the ability to work with equal competence in
both creative and technical fields is paramount. In today's market place,
skills depend on total confidence in all processes of that ability, in
this case, graphic design. This means optimizing and maximuming marketing
from either print or internet.
DS Grafx does all these things, as well as, in-house
photography, technical illustration, package design and the ability to
communicate with people in all walks of life.

What is DS Grafx 'turnaround time' for projects? |
|
|
|
Clients
are very valuable to DS Grafx, especially in today's economic
climate, so a 24 hour turnaround time is standard. Like anything else, the
larger jobs which are more involved and require more time, necessitate a
bit of planning and coordination before the creative process begins: you
wouldn't want it any other way. |

What marketing background, if any, does DS Grafx
have? |

a strictly professional point of view, eight years in Mobil Oil's Corporate Design and Graphics

Which digital photographic format is preferred for publications;
for the web? |
|
|
|
Digital
formatting refers to photographic files that have been saved either from
a source such as a camera or a CD or the internet, with an extension of
.jpg, .gif, .tif, .png, .bmp, eps, .pdf, .psd and so on. Differences
in formats are generally a result of functionality, and when it comes to
resolution, size does matter. The optimal size for internet photos is 72
dpi, any higher resolution for the web and it slows down the download speed.
For publications however, any less than 300 dpi and you run into fuzziness
and/or posterizing and a general loss of clarity. |
